ABOUT LAURA BRISLIN

I sit within the Global Search Operations function, with a focus on the EMEA region, partnering closely with senior leadership at the intersection of people, learning and performance in a highly commercial, client driven environment. For me, there is a focus on the specific moments that materially affect colleague experience and performance - particularly hiring, onboarding, early careers, capability development and day to day operational challenges.Over recent years, my work has evolved from operational delivery into learning architecture and people capability. I design and lead the EMEA Search business\' onboarding and development programs at scale, whilst supplementing our Early Careers program with a Search lens. I work closely with stakeholders across EMEA and globally, translating business priorities into practical, learner-centered solutions that can be sustained over time.Having recently completed the CIPD Level 5 Learning & Development Business Partner qualification, I have formalised and strengthend my practice - particularly in learning needs analysis, evaluation, stakeholder consultancy and the design of learning ecosystems that prioritise relevance, choice and impact over volume and compliance.I like to believe I have a pragmatic, thoughtful approach - diagnosing before prescribing, challenging constructively and staying focused on what will make the biggest difference for people and the business. I am particularly interested in Onboarding as a moment of both risk and opportunity, Early Careers as a capabiity pipeline and the role of learning in supporting organisational change rather than simply reacting to it.
