Manage a team to collect parts from 300 suppliers around the world for production at Hethel. I’m a calm and creative professional who has used my previous experience in other industries to create systems and processes to improve performance. When I first joined the company, I asked to see the files that the team was using to manage collections. When it was clear that there wasn’t a methodology in place, I set a process up to capture data and make it accessible on SharePoint to the end users. Over time, data became information that the business could use to drive for cost improvements through a better understanding of the supply base. I have guided my department from this very manual way of managing collections to ERP integration with our 3PL in a 5 year multimillion pound contract.I successfully managed the Brexit transition with our European supplier base and 3PL partner through a careful use of Incoterms to move cargo quickly through our networks.
