About Laura Smolyar
For over 10 years in industrial hygiene and occupational health and safety I had worked for many clients in different industries. Helping clients develop better risk control strategies, safety, ergonomics,improve indoor air quality and deal with moisture and microbial impacts in the buildings. My technical consulting and project management experience includes Industrial hygiene exposure assessment, regulated building materials abatement, research laboratory safety inspections including local ventilation systems, emergency response, permit required confined space, respirator fit testing, hazard communications with globally harmonized system training, ergonomic assessments, combustion by-products sampling, drinking water quality testing, indoor air quality (IAQ) assessments, water intrusion.Public sector work has included residential properties, transportation, aerospace manufacturing facilities, municipal water districts, preschools, middle schools and high schools, colleges and universities, city and county governments, and state agencies. I also have private sector EHS experience in industries including Healthcare, Retail, High-Rise office buildings and small businesses.
