Tampa Bay meet Dazzle, a premier catering concept specializing in custom, upscale culinary events– the newest division of Datz. Our team is led by veteran chef and Tampa catering pioneer LauraSchmalhorst. Laura brings decades of experience to our new venture, and we are beyond excited towelcome her to the Datz family.Datz has proudly offered catering services since opening in 2009, but the development of Dazzlehas increased the capabilities of our catering team both in regard to offerings and event size. UnderChef Schmalhorst’s direction, Dazzle will provide highly customized catering and event planningfor on- and off-premises events of nearly any size. With a lifetime of parties under her belt, anything– from themed corporate galas for thousands of guests to elaborate intimate food and spiritpairings – will be possible.Dazzle, which has already begun booking parties for the coming months, also provides anopportunity to share with Tampa Bay what makes Datz so special on a grander scale. In therestaurant we thrive on novelty by giving new preparations, combinations, and ingredients centerstage without ever losing sight of quality and trusted culinary principles. With Dazzle we will do thesame, but we’ll be free to boldly experiment with different cuisines, artful presentations, and a levelof sophistication that might be out of context at the restaurant. The same goes for ingredients. AtDatz you will only find the highest quality meats, cheeses and produce in our kitchen, but thereisn’t always a place for blue point oysters or Kobe beef.
