HR was never something I thought I would get into! But being a part of a successful start up airline afforded me the opportunity to gain 4.5 years’ of extensive and meaningful experience in the heart and soul of the organization. To borrow a sports analogy, as HR, we wear many hats; we are the athlete, the scout, the coach, the cheerleader and referee- all at the same time! During this time, my compassion, empathy, dedication and commitment has been at the centre of every role and project I take on. I\'m all about getting things done and making sure tasks are tackled in an organized, consistent, and dependable manner. Fast-paced environments and endless opportunities for career development? Bring it on! I love driving positive change and growth through innovative solutions. With 19+ years of experience in the aviation industry, I\'ve worn many hats, and I’m not afraid of a challenge. I\'ve honed my skills in Workday HCM, Recruitment, HR analytics, Leaves and Disability, LMS, Onboarding, and Employee Engagement. My commitment, loyalty, and flexibility are fueled by my eagerness to achieve results for the organization. I get great satisfaction from engaging in meaningful work and seeing the results of my actions firsthand. These rewarding experiences motivate me to continue contributing meaningfully and inspire me to seek out further opportunities for growth and accomplishment. During my five years at Swoop Airlines, I had the privilege of contributing to some remarkable achievements: • In 2022, our HR team at Swoop received the prestigious Excellence Award for CPHR Alberta HR Team of the Year. It was an absolute delight to accept this recognition alongside members of my fantastic team. • As an Advisor, Recruiting, I played a key role in hiring and successfully onboarding 423 Corporate and Flight Attendant employees from February 2022 to May 2023. • A partner in developing Swoop\'s new hire orientation and onboarding programs, which were rolled out in February 2022. • In 2021, I led the Disability component during Swoop\'s benefit migration to a new provider. I crafted all process documents and collaborated closely with the new Disability Case Management department to ensure seamless alignment with Swoop\'s processes. • As a Human Resources Analyst, I proudly served as the designated Time and Absence Partner for Swoop\'s Workday HRIS integration. I oversaw the time and absence module, conducting validations, and testing across test, preview, and production environments.
