Hello! My name is Laura Sanabria and I am a Psychology major at Miami Dade College\'s Wolfson Campus, eager to graduate in May 2024 and considering a transfer to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My academic pursuits are fueled by a passion for childhood development, which I hope to explore either through Psychology or Education. My strengths in communication and leadership, alongside a strong determination, have been shaped by meaningful interactions working with children in my past. As a disabled person, I have an innate desire to see that this world is a better place for those who do not have the privilege of being born able-bodied. I hope that my work with Psychology helps me direct that passion to making real change in this regard. I\'m looking to broaden my perspectives and professional network, and I am ready to embrace the new experiences that the world beyond just my home in Miami can offer.
