About Laura Smith

I have the privilege and honor of leading our NA Prof Services and NA/EU CP Managed Services team. We do it all - from working with a customer to determine the right way to implement a system, to doing the implementation, to partnering with our customers to maintain and grow their system after go live. I love seeing our customers and team grow as they continue to use Vault!I have operated in many roles in Services at Veeva, such as Solution Architect, Project Manager, GPM, and Team Lead and have enjoyed them all. Veeva\'s commitment to \"do the right thing\" before anything else keeps me going. Before I was a Veevan, I wore Project/Program Manager, QA Engineer, and Training Lead hats in the Medical Device space. During my college days, I experimented with working in a lab (shoutout to those who find joy in that work!) and assisting startups with IP reviews, preparing for funding rounds, and writing up marketing material.

   I am responsible for leading the team that delivers the full services lifecycle for our Consumer Products customers in North America - from introductions to post-implementation and beyond.We change the world by helping Food & Bev, Consumer Products, and Chemicals companies standardize their Quality, Regulatory, and Claims management systems, so they can deliver their products to market with higher quality and shorter timelines. And since we\'re our customers\' customers, everything we do to help them helps us too. Gotta love the synergy!
