About Laura Perkins
I am a native Nevadan. I am a former elected Regent for the Nevada System of Higher Education representing my community. Previously serving as a Planning Commissioner for the City of North Las Vegas. I have been actively involved in my community. I was a girl scout leader/Co-leader for 10 years. I served on Parent Teacher Councils/Associations. I have served in some executive board capacity for the following organizations; Friends of the North Las Vegas Library District, CBTU and IBPOE Leviticus Chapter. I was a member of NAACP. Interacted with community groups such as North Valley Leadership Team, Protectors of Tule Springs and North Las Vegas HOA & Concerned Citizens. My passion is my community. Collaborate with national and state leadership to advance legislative and ballot efforts.
