About Laura Mino
As a licensed Structural Engineer and Project Manager, Laura is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of building and transportation engineering projects in the US and across the globe. She leads multidisciplinary teams and consistently pushes for integrated solutions that meet the client’s vision, schedule, and budget. Laura is a Seattle native who returned home after 10+ years with Arup\'s structural engineering group in Los Angeles. Laura joined Arup after receiving her master’s degree from the University of Southern California in 2011. Laura’s experience covers a wide scope of projects ranging from airport terminals and rail stations to performing art centers and modern museums to local and international commercial developments and industrial manufacturing facilities. Laura has led the design of unique structures including complex geometries and seismic systems outside prescriptive code limits. She has a strong background in seismic building analysis including performance-based design and steel and concrete structures at all phases of project delivery.
