Oversee employee health and welfare programs including new employee onboarding, open enrollment, qualifying events, claims resolution, monthly invoicing, etc. Coordinate with wellness provider and onsite Personal Health Coach to develop annual plan design and health action campaigns. Administer 401(k) retirement and pension plans including eligibility determination, contribution management and educational opportunities along with participation in quarterly investment committee meetings. Collaborate with benefits consultant and ownership to complete annual benefits plan design review. Ensure organizational compliance with multi-state and federal employment law. Develop, implement, and revise personnel policies and procedures and job descriptions. Facilitate annual audit of the Employees’ Savings Plan and Pension plan and collaborate with providers to ensure timely filing of the form 5500. Manage employee leaves of absence including Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), short-term disability and long-term disability. Manage the interactive process for ADA accommodation requests. Assist in the entry of new hires into the HRIS (ADP) as well as confirm eligibility to work in the United States through the use of E-Verify.
