About Laura McFalls

As a results-driven leader in operations and technology, Laura McFalls leverages her deepwater offshore operations background and her detailed understanding of business needs in the global real-time data space to implement strategic and forward-thinking solutions at Shell. Through continuous data and process analysis, Laura successfully leads individuals, teams, and business groups toward more effective and more efficient ways of working. Her years working on deepwater vessels highlighted the need for community and advocates for women+ community working at sea. As the Vice President of the Board for Women Offshore Foundation, Laura has affected meaningful change in the offshore energy and maritime industries. Through extensive collaboration with industry leaders and decision makers, Laura has raised awareness about the challenges women+ face at sea; resulting in access to a network of dedicated mentors for the community, career development programs, and appropriate PPE access. Laura is most proud of Women Offshore\'s work helping companies identify gaps and implement strategies to improve psychological safety offshore for women+ and underrepresented individuals. Outside of Shell and Women Offshore, Laura coaches a Houston youth softball team, is frequently found at fine arts events around town, and travels with her husband and two rescue dogs- embracing the chaotic adventure of life everywhere they go.
