My career in food safety and quality assurance spans nearly 20 years. Educated with a BS in Food Science, a certificate in International Food Law, and an MS in Food Safety, I have a strong passion for consumer protection and advocacy. I believe accurate and trustworthy food labeling is a way to disseminate information to the consumer about food safety and I love enabling customers to feel secure in their food choices.With specialties in interpretation and implementation of regulations, developing specifications and policy, and data analysis, I\'m adept at taking a strategy from idea to implementation. I\'m happiest in a hands-on role that allows me to interpret and understand regulations and build sustainable strategies.
