ABOUT LAURA MASULLO
After a valuable experience in the training department of a TLC multinational, I worked in Ansaldo STS in the telecommunication branch for Railways; as employee in the Project and Tender Engineering Department, my tasks ranged from collection and management of requirements for tenders, to preparation and review of technical documents and evaluation of bids from suppliers. The focal point of the activity was the management of relations with the suppliers, in order to find the solution that best meets the customer\'s requirements. I also cooperated with other departments within the company, such as Research and Development and Sales department. I was also the contact person for technical projects, co-financed by the European Space Agency, aimed at studying the use of satellite technology and existing public mobile networks in lieu of the communication networks dedicated for Railways. I consider myself a result-oriented person, able to work both in group and independently; thanks to previous experiences I have developed the ability to deal with customers, partners and suppliers both at national and international level. Last year I decided to put myself on the line and I am a PhD student at the University of Genoa in the Telecommunications Networks and Telematics Laboratory group. Since November 2015 until September 2017 I worked in ZTE, as Network Pre-sales Engineer, focused on Railway and Transportation markets, being the technical interface towards signaling companies to support them in TLC systems for Transportation. In the last year I was involved in a delivery project, being the Integrated Solution Manager: I was the responsible for the project documentation, I collected and discuss with the customer the project issues, and I tracked them. I was the operational team leader, defining the day by day activities of the team, and being responsible for the solution delivery. Since January 2018, I work in Sirti S.p.A. as Innovation Engineer, working in European Funded Projects. Now I work in Mer Mec STE, as Innovation Manager, working in European Funded Projects, and I\'m actively involved in Europe\'s Rail.
