ABOUT LAURA LOVELL

I take pride in holding an integral role in keeping our colleagues and customers safe, whether working in or visiting our shops and offices, both in the UK and overseas. I have highly developed skills in risk identification, risk assessment, workplace safety and H&S/fire audits within all aspects of a large retail operator and global business with multiple international head offices. Achieving BSc Hons Occupational Health and Safety, and currently working towards my NEBOSH National Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals.I\'m comfortable with researching, writing audits, analysing health and safety related data, and articulating findings in an audience-appropriate, professional manner. As an experienced health and safety specialist, my role adds value for our business, our colleagues and customers in many ways, from writing group-wide policies to bespoke individual risk assessments, chairing retail health and safety meetings, being a key stakeholder in our H&S steering committee meetings with our executive team, and having a proactive engaging and transparent relationships with both our Primary Authority for H&S, and our insurers.I\'m passionate about our people being and feeling safe at work, wherever they work from within the business. For our colleagues to feel happy, and comfortable, having the knowledge to keep themselves and others safe, and the confidence to highlight near-misses and suggestions to improve.
