CVA 230 – Graphic Design explores the fundamentals of graphic design and typography including the history, tools and skills of the craft, and its current influence on communications and art; Art 331/Comm CVA 330 - Students explore advanced problems in visual communications and with emphasis on design while mastering traditional practices in the commercial environment. Projects are focused on building community through design and can feature brand, package, and publication, and web design and development. Prerequisite: CVA 230CVA 331/599 – Web Design teaches students to plan, design, and build a professional website with an emphasis on communicating a consistent brand, responsiveness across multiple platforms, UX and UI design, SEO, and analytics. Prerequisite: CVA 230
