Laura’s practice includes conducting internal investigations and representing clients facing government investigations. Laura regularly represents clients in matters involving health care fraud, securities fraud, and procurement fraud.Prior to private practice, Laura served as Assistant Chief in the Fraud Section of the Criminal Division at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), where she led the Corporate Healthcare Fraud Strike Force charged with investigating and prosecuting large, multi-jurisdictional fraud schemes throughout the U.S. While at DOJ, Laura investigated and tried numerous complex cases involving health care fraud, violations of the Anti-Kickback Statute, mail and wire fraud, money laundering, false statements, and government program fraud.
