As part of the Sustainable Development Communications Team, I lead communications for the World Bank\'s engagements related to Urban, Rural and Land, and Social Sustainability and Inclusion. This portfolio covers many topics, ranging from smart urban design to help cities adapt to and mitigate climate change to inclusion of mariganalized populations to faciliate equitable economic growth and social cohesion. From January-August 2023 I based out of Dakar, Senegal, strengthening my understanding of development initiatives under way in West Africa and broadening my network to individuals and organizations active in the region.
