Senior legal and regulatory counsel with extensive cross-border experience in the asset management and life insurance sectors obtained from working in-house in fast paced global financial services organisations.Head of International Legal/business partner providing legal and compliance support across Latam, EMEA and Asia regions, working closely with stakeholders and regional teams to support product and strategy offerings and to enable business opportunities.Operates across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams to present business focused legal solutions to senior management and boards.Track record of successful regulatory engagement with various global regulators.Key experience includes- led the set up of the Singapore office across Legal and Compliance securing a capital markets licence for fund management to facilitate growth across the Asia region- led the legal work stream to establish a Hong Kong trading desk, enhancing operational resilience and enabling dealers to follow global market cycles- set up Chinese subsidiaries to enable the sale of onshore (PFM A share, PFM A&H share) and offshore (QDLP) products to domestic investors and enabled our US, Canadian, Irish and UK funds for QFI investments- oversaw the legal transition of the firm\'s European clients ahead of Brexit to a newly formed Dublin subsidiary, navigating an evolving cross-border landscape while ensuring continuity of operations for our clients- successfully engaged with the Korean, Indian, German and UK regulators for legal and regulatory changes to enhance client outcomes
