ABOUT LAURA HICKS

Responsibility | Achiever | Includer | Discipline | InputFueled by impactful storytelling and lending a helping hand, Laura Hicks is a purpose-driven marketing and communications professional dedicated to collaboration and curiosity. In her role as a marketing manager, Laura actively engages with independent pharmacies across the United States. She leads customer and internal communications for the Retail Business Conference (RBC), Cardinal Health’s annual conference welcoming more than independent pharmacy customers. Laura also assists with her team’s content strategy, aids in the development of new marketing collateral focused on Cardinal Health’s products and solutions, and partners on a variety of sales enablement initiatives in support of more than 150 sales representatives. Laura has a heart for service and uses her talents outside the office to support organizations important to her. She is a member of the Columbus Young Professionals (CYP) Club, previously serving on the organization’s Columbus Leadership Council as the Community Committee Co-Chair and graduating from its Impact Academy in 2020. Laura also volunteers as a mentor to future marketing and communications professionals involved in The Ohio State University’s student-run public relations firm, The PRactice. A lifelong learner, Laura is a two-time graduate of The Ohio State University. She received her Master of Public Administration from The John Glenn College of Public Affairs in May 2024 with a specialization in nonprofit management. In her spare time, you will find Laura kayaking central Ohio’s waterways, exploring local neighborhoods with her husband and their rescue pup, or reading her latest find from the Columbus Metropolitan Library.
