I am a Director in BDO’s Tax Assurance and Risk Management team, specialising in developing Tax Control Frameworks, assisting clients in responding to the SAO and tax strategy legislation, working with clients with regards to their tax risk management and governance, and providing advice to help clients improve their tax performance on an ongoing basis. I also work with clients with regards to their response to the Corporate Criminal Offence of failing to prevent the facilitation of tax evasion (“CCO”) since its introduction in September 2017, ensuring that they have robust preventative procedures in place.
