ABOUT LAURA GLOGOWSKI

Hi! I\'m Laura Glogowski! I grew up in Rockford, Illinois in a family of entrepreneurs. My dad owned a construction company for 20 years (that my brother now runs), my sister launched her own small business, and my mom breeds golden retrievers. Surrounded by this environment, I developed a strong foundation in grit, resourcefulness, adaptability, and innovation.I pursued higher education through Liberty University Online while beginning the Owner/Operator pursuit at age 18. From an early age, I learned to blend Biblical principles with sound business practices, a perspective that continues to shape how I lead and serve others. I now have the unique opportunity as the Owner/Operator of the newest Chick-fil-A coming to Waukegan, Illinois to steward a team of over 100 Team Members.Having experienced poverty firsthand as my Dad was building his business, I understand the challenges it creates and the way it can shape every part of life. I also know that without someone to break the cycle, it can persist for generations. That reality fuels my passion for holistic community development and why I believe Chick-fil-A can play a unique role in transforming lives, both inside the restaurant and beyond.Today my leadership is anchored in: People Development: Coaching, encouraging, and empowering others.🤝 Healthy Culture: Building teams of high achievers who take their work seriously, but not themselves too seriously. Community Impact: Serving with a warm heart and investing where it matters most. Generosity: Intentionally looking for opportunities to be abundantly generous with my time and resources. Operational Excellence: Prioritizing retention first, then creating habits that drive winning outcomes through lead vs. lag measures.
