ABOUT LAURA GIDDINGS
A motivated, resilient and reliable individual keen to pursue a career in forensic psychology and mental health. In my final year of the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I have a first class BSc in Psychology and a Merit in my MSc in Forensic Psychology and Mental Health, both degrees accredited by the British Psychological Society. In all my positions to date I have demonstrated the ability to work in highly emotive and hostile environments in a calm and professional manner, facilitating a range of therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a clinical psychologist as well as training other members of the multi-disciplinary team. With excellent people skills, I thrive in busy environments and work well under pressure. I am passionate about delivering high quality standards of care to help disadvantaged adults and children to overcome adverse situations.
