About Laura George
With more than 30 years of diverse experience planning and implementing multi‐disciplinary projects involving brownfield redevelopment, coastal permitting, environmental impact assessment, including port assessment and permitting for port improvements to support offshore wind and other markets. I have proven ability to lead multi‐disciplinary teams to provide solutions and meet project objectives. I have directed and managed a broad range of wetland delineation and resource studies, special-status species surveys, environmental impact analyses, and multi-agency permitting for remediation and development projects. In my current role, I am part of the team that was the first to receive approvals for the first commercial offshore wind project under construction and directly supporting efforts to bring two more projects through the federal permitting process and expand renewable energy sources in the northeast.
