ABOUT LAURA FOGLYANO

Since I\'ve been old enough, I\'ve always worked. An early job in an ice cream shop gave way to working at a CD store (the world\'s best job. like \"Empire Records\" and more), and then onto more professional pursuits with an an internship at the Smithsonian during college.Every position I\'ve had, from the ice cream shop when I was 15 years old up until now, shares two common themes. One, they involved working with people in some way. I gravitate towards roles that allow me to help people be successful and be a part of meaningful experiences. And two, they involve establishing order and process to be successful. At Cleveland Clinic, I was fortunate to help my organization and my community by designing, planning and executing events focused on building a healthier world. As the Manager of Event Marketing, I oversaw the planning and execution of over 11 major events per year as Project Manager and supported an additional 60 events. Our events include intimate gatherings, galas, dinners, speeches, groundbreakings, and community events. WHO I AMI am organized, efficient, and focused on objectives. I thrive on keeping C-suite executives, board members and donors informed and prepared and I manage projects that encompass a diverse set of purposes and audiences. I enjoy the research and analysis phase of planning events to ensure objectives can be met. I pride myself on my keen ability to build relationships across teams and stakeholders to solicit support and engagement. Given the nature of my work today, I find that I am continually learning and applying those learnings quickly. I often work on disparate events, webinars, corporate speeches, and fundraising projects covering distinct and different focus areas.WHAT I BRING TO THE TABLE I have a proven track record of developing and implementing policies and procedures. I collaborate openly and effectively with internal and external teams, including C-suite executives, board members, vendors, and donors. My attention to detail and organization drive smooth operations and efficient logistical execution. I have led large-scale projects and efforts with tight timelines and significant dependencies. I am resourceful, proactive, and have strong problem-solving capabilities.WHAT’S IMPORTANT TO MEI am deeply committed to my family and my community. I enjoy learning and seeing new things. I am eager to be of service and use my talents to help others thrive.
