   Duties include: • Advocating and articulating the mission and vision of the school• Collaborating with the SVS board and executing the established school policies; reviewing policies and make recommendations for changes; keeping board members informed on all aspects of the school’s operation.• Supervising all the programs of the school (academic, athletic, and other extracurricular programs); to monitor curriculum, grading, testing, and reporting to parents; preparing for and conducting periodic program evaluations and standardized testing; submitting reports to external accrediting agencies such as AdvancEd; overseeing the implementation of the new behavioral program entitled Collaborative and Proactive Solution by Dr. Ross Greene Supervising the SVS business manager in the preparation of preliminary and final budgets; monitoring income, expenditures, collections, cash flow and financial records.• Overseeing student records and recruitment of students, including marketing and outreach, information dissemination, applicant testing and interviews and acceptance and decisions with the assistance of the SVS registrar. • Representing the school to all of its constituents including neighborhood, parents,students, alumni, business community, faculty, and staff.• Preparing and overseeing the AdancEd accreditation.• Submitting grant proposals monthly and coordinating development efforts to cultivate and continue generous support of the school.• Overseeing employment, retention, and dismissal of personnel; salaries and contracts; job assignments and performance evaluation; and orientation and training. Preparing the employee handbook and maintaining appropriate personnel records.• Assisting with the college planning, admissions, and college admissions testing • Supervising and/or assisting with all other aspects of the school’s operation,including facilities maintenance and operation, food service, transportation, summer program.
