About Laura Dinsmore

I bring over 18 years of tax accounting experience at PwC with a current focus on the public sector and the insurance industry including life, health and other property casualty. I provide specialized accounting for income tax services to companies on IFRS, GAAP, and STAT (SSAP 101) basis. Heavily experienced in preparation of consolidated corporate federal, state, and local income tax return including tackling the intricacies of life/non-life consolidated returns and alternative partnership investment reporting. I also provides her clients with a breadth of consulting services including topics such as analysis of tax technical issues of global expansion, divestitures, restructuring and acquisition, and successfully navigating audit defenses, penalty abatements, and tax planning.I am very passionate and driven both at work and in my community. As an employee of PwC, I have active roles in the Minneapolis Environmental Inclusion Network, UofM campus recruiting, Technology initiatives, and professional development of my team members. Outside of work, I most pride myself on my role as a violinist in the Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra where we perform outstanding symphony concerts for diverse audiences throughout the Twin Cities.
