Manage a portfolio of 31 commercial real estate loans with $500M in total volume. Perform a broad scope of analytical and support tasks, including analyzing monthly financial statements, preparing variance reports and comparing actual financial results to budgets. Assist with the loan approval and modification process, including working with default loans. Monitor loans throughout the entire life cycle to track budget variances and covenant performance, discussing with borrowers, lenders and senior management. Perform annual on-site visits to 60+ facilities nationwide. Contributed to the rapid expansion of the department, growing portfolio from 10 bridge loans to 67 within 2 years. Partnered with leadership to establish and manage a network of 30+ lending partners/banks. Collaborated with my team to create a new reporting process, including a master bridge loan report for new lender partners that outlines all data and information for the group; improved overall efficiency and productivity. Instrumental in turning around poor auditing results by restructuring records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, resulting in positive audit rating from FDIC with no issues.
