We have developed a cell phone enabled on-site test for microbial biomass and Fungal to Bacterial Ratio that allows soil stewards to assess the impact of regenerative practices on soil health.microBIOMETER® targets regenerative agriculture practitioners in the $5 Billion/year agricultural testing market. There are many Certified Crop Advisors and agronomists who are pushing their growers to adopt regenerative agriculture practices to limit their use of fertilizer and decrease soil erosion with over crops and other progressive soil health measures. Organizations and markets are also emerging that will allow growers and landowners to receive carbon credits for sequestering carbon via grazing and other regenerative practices. Our test is well suited for monitoring carbon sequestration. As we grow, the database we are accumulating of soil MB becomes a very valuable asset.
