ABOUT LAURA DAVIS
I currently lead a multinational team of finance directors delivering financial reporting and control activities across Natwest Group’s legal entities and franchises, a team I set up following a finance reorganisation in 2024. Prior to joining Natwest, I held senior finance roles at Bank of America, including as CFO of the EMEA Equities Execution Services business, and as the Financial Controller for the Banking Legal Entities in EMEA. I hold a BSc in Accounting and Finance. I am a first time pass Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and hold a Certificate in International Treasury Management (ACT). I’m passionate about turning finance teams in to highly effective delivery and partnering functions. I actively seek out challenges, enjoying driving change and making a positive difference. I am fervent in supporting people to reach their full potential, and particularly those from lesser represented groups. In my spare time, I enjoy putting my skills to use as the Treasurer and Chair of the Audit, Finance and Risk Committee for the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts and love getting involved in Girlguiding at a grass roots level by running the Guide unit in my local village.
