About Laura Crawley

As the first Vice President for Mission, Engagement, and Innovation (MEI) at Lenoir-Rhyne University, I led a division that encompassed recruitment, admissions, student affairs, retention efforts, vocational discernment, spiritual life, conferences and events, and community partnerships, Together with the president and leadership team of the university, I fostered a sense of community, collaboration, and responsible stewardship of the university\'s mission. Previously, as Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs and Director of the Gwinnett Graduate Center at the University of Georgia, my leadership was instrumental in managing campus operations and spearheading the development of new academic programs and initiatives. This role honed my skills in fundraising and strategic planning, and allowed me to contribute significantly to the university\'s mission of delivering exceptional education and fostering academic excellence. Together with a dedicated team, we expanded educational opportunities that continue to affect students, alumni, and communities and businesses across north Georgia.
