ABOUT LAURA CASTILLO ARDILA.
I am an anthropologist of agrarian, water and gender policies, projects and conflicts. I have a Master in Public Policy and one in Development Studies with an emphasis on Agrarian, Food, and Environmental Issues. I have professional experience working on the design, on-the-ground implementation, monitoring, and assessment of projects and policies addressing rural development, agricultural productivity, food security and nutrition, and environmental sustainability in LAC and the SIDS. My work combines desk review, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, ethnographic fieldwork skills, collaborative community projects, gender-based approaches, and differentiated cultural competence to optimize the execution and completion of different socio-environmental projects.
