Accountable for achieving service level, inventory targets, and excess and obsolete inventory goals in partnership with NPI and engineering, ensuring Rivian meets strict SLAs with internal and external stakeholders. Portfolio focuses heavily on HVAC systems, wiring, standard components, and batteries. Work closely and collaboratively with NPI, SQE, reliability, purchasing, demand planning, logistics, and manufacturing teams while navigating frequently changing part supersessions, cut-in dates, varying part interchangeability, and balancing ever-changing priorities, all requiring high levels of flexibility. Understanding and communicating supply constraints, providing analysis to support decision-making. Managed rework process for over parts, working with supplier and third-party rework company to ensure rework was completed according to schedule, preventing stockouts. Manage engineering changes, new product launches with changes to over 50% of the BOM, minimize excess and obsolescence across the inventory network, and identify reduction opportunities and strategies. Manage flow rates to 81 service centers and an additional 325 third-party repair shops to minimize vehicle downtime for customers. Partner with field service and containment operations to provide a CTB plan for over 30 internal launches with global suppliers to resolve part failures and ensure inventory accuracy. Lead the material planning team through the new program launch for vans. Providing status updates to senior leadership and ensuring all parts are in stock by the targeted material readiness date, working closely with NPI and engineering to track risk and blockers. Building genuine relationships with over 60 suppliers in 6 countries.
