ABOUT LAURA CAMILA PEDRAZA

Second-year law student (2L) who is a detail-oriented legal professional with customer service experience since 2017 and over three years of concentrated immigration law experience in both removal defense and USCIS-based matters. Throughout the years I have developed strong client communication, case management and legal drafting skills in fast-paced, high-volume environments. I have extensive experience drafting and preparing immigration motions before the Immigration Court including: Motions to Reopen, Motions to Reopen in Absentia, Orders of Removal, Joint Motions to Dismiss, Motions to Dismiss, Motions for Administrative Closure, Motions for Voluntary Departure, Motions for Prosecutorial Discretion, Motion to Change Venue, Motions to Appear via Web-ex and Motion for Continuance. Additionally, I have experience in creating Notice of Filling for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Applications explaining the evidence being provided for the following applications included but not limited to: AR-11, G-639, I-90, I-129, I-130 (along with I-130A), I-131, I-134, I-140, I-290B, I-360 (VAWA ONLY), I-485, I-485 Supplement A, I-539, I-589, I-601A, I-751, I-765, I-821D, I-864, I-918, N-400, and N-336. I have demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and high-stakes immigration matters with professionalism, cultural competency and attention to detail. Experienced in client intake, affidavit preparation, evidentiary analysis and maintaining compliance with strict filing deadlines.
