As a professional science editor and writer, I’m passionate about marrying big-picture messaging with scientific precision. Over the past 25 years, I have immersed myself in the fields of biopharma, analytical chemistry, and life sciences technology—as a B2B editor, freelance writer, and now as a content marketing specialist. This work feeds my appetite for continuous learning, while allowing me to use my expertise and hard-won knowledge in support of science- and technology-based industries. It has also given me the opportunity to participate in wonderful communities of experts.My love of language and communication also extends to translation. Through Lúmina Language Services I provide ATA-certified Spanish-to-English translations, with a special focus on personal documents like academic transcripts, diplomas, birth certificates, and driver\'s licenses. I hold a BA in Spanish from McGill University and an MA in Spanish Translation from Rutgers University, where my master’s project was the translation of a 200-page book about Cuban history. Early in my career, I spent more than five years living in Madrid, Spain, editing and translating corporate legal documents for an international law firm.
