I am the lead photographer and asset manager at Northwestern Medicine. I support the vast majority of our internal communication needs, much of our external communication needs (media, social and other consumer communications), and as of the last two years, much of our advertising needs. I create the workflow standards, project manage new assignments, train other full time employees and several vetted freelancers. I respond to all photography requests, produce each assignment, oversee the physician portrait program as well as the shared library housing my selection of our best images within the health system for presentations, educational materials, department sites, etc. This fast paced, high-pressured environment has sharpened my communication skills to easily collaborate with my clients and subjects to understand our communication needs. It has also strengthened my ability to think fast and creatively keeping the the message top of mind to provide the most effective assets.
