Laura Baucus is a results-oriented litigator, business and financial services attorney with experience delivering consistent results to clients in the automotive, manufacturing and financial services industries. Ms. Baucus has worked both as outside counsel and as seconded in-house counsel. She is the Director of Dykema’s 140+ attorney Automotive Industry Group, the immediate past Leader of the firm’s Financial Services Litigation Practice, a Leader in Dykema’s COVID-19 Task-Force, the originator of the firm’s Supply Chain Group, and the Manager of a firm OEM client-service team. She also developed and presented legal training on customer and supplier financial distress, the resulting impact on supply chain contracts, and practical steps to take to minimize risks. In her financial services practice, she developed and presented CLEs on the litigation impact of the CARES Act and pandemic, digital mortgages, CFPB issues, and other state and federal statutes impacting national banks and servicers.
