I was invited to Ebbsfleet Garden City in 2018 on a secondment to embed culture into the NHS-funded Healthy New Town Programme and to develop a cultural placemaking vision and strategy. My ambition was to create a framework that would grow a place where arts, culture and creativity help shape its identity and are available for everyone: from grassroots to professional, community to commercial through a suite of buildings and spaces; a programme of events and activities and opportunities to develop life and work skills. I have attracted over £1.2m towards delivering this vision.\\\\n\\\\n
