Extrusion Blow Molding Conduct quality control programs, operatingprocedures and control strategies to ensureconsistency and adherence to standards for rawmaterials, products and waste products⁃ Inspect manufactured plastic products fordefects and conformance to specifications andquality standards, visually or using instruments⁃ Conduct sample and data collection for process analysis (capability studies)⁃ Take samples of products during or afterprocessing operation for routine analysis or forsubsequent laboratory analysis according to size, thickness, composition or other classification standards⁃ Test product for strength, density, durability and conformity to specification⁃ Advise supervisor or process and machineoperators of problems and product deficiencies⁃ Complete and maintain clear, accurate, andtimely inspection records and test reports⁃ Approve plastic products or affix seals / tags to mark and reroute defective products for rework or scrap⁃ Perform inspection tests to ensure parts areproduced to meet or exceed specifications.⁃ May assist production personnel in gaugingproduction specifications.⁃ Report discrepancies in parts, processes, oroperator training to appropriate personnel.⁃ Assist in training production personnel in thecorrect inspection methods and techniques
