ABOUT LATIKA BANSAL
Professional Experience: A Journey in Legal Practice Embarking on a career in law, I have had the privilege of engaging in diverse and enriching professional experiences, each contributing to my growth and development as a legal practitioner. From conducting legal research to participating in courtroom proceedings, my journey has been characterized by a relentless pursuit of excellence and a commitment to upholding the principles of justice. National Association of Street Vendors of India (April 2024 - May 2024): My stint as a legal intern at the National Association of Street Vendors of India was marked by a deep dive into the legal issues surrounding street vendors. I meticulously conducted legal research on cases pertinent to this marginalized community, delving into statutes, regulations, and legal precedents to provide comprehensive support in drafting memos, briefs, and petitions. Moreover, I had the privilege of actively contributing to the launch of a National campaign advocating for the rights of self-employed workers, a cause close to my heart. Supreme Court of India, Office of Senior Advocate Pradeep Rai (April 2023 - June 2023): At the esteemed office of Senior Advocate Pradeep Rai, I had the opportunity to delve into complex legal issues at the apex court of India. Conducting in-depth legal research on various cases, statutes, and legal precedents, I provided strategic support in case preparation, ensuring meticulous attention to detail in all endeavors. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in preparing transcripts of court proceedings, collaborating with seasoned legal professionals to analyze cases and draft legal documents with precision. The Amikas Qriae (July 2023 - September 2023): My internship at The Amikas Qriae provided me with a platform to hone my skills in legal research and drafting, with a focus on nurturing the future generation of legal professionals. Engaging in rigorous research on diverse legal issues, I authored research papers and tackled practical-based questions, refining my analytical and problem-solving abilities. Moreover, drafting judgments enabled me to develop proficiency in articulating legal arguments and synthesizing complex legal concepts.
