As a member of Toastmasters, I gained a wide range of experiences that helped me develop my communication and leadership skills. Some experiences I have accrued through my involvement in Toastmasters include:• Giving speeches: You can practice and improve your public speaking skills by giving prepared speeches and participating in impromptu speaking exercises.• Listening to others: By actively listening to other members\' speeches and providing feedback, you can develop your listening skills and learn how to provide constructive criticism.• Leading meetings: You may have the opportunity to take on leadership roles within your Toastmasters club, such as serving as the president or vice president, which can help you develop your leadership skills.• Participating in speech contests: Toastmasters offers a variety of speech contests at the club, district, and international levels, which can provide a challenging and rewarding opportunity to hone your speaking skills.
