I am a Graduate Assistant at The University of Memphis Graduate School, where I edit dissertations in ProQuest for publication. I have over two years of experience in this role, and I am proficient in Microsoft Office, public speaking, and research. I ensure adherence to formatting guidelines, correct grammar and syntax errors, and provide feedback to student authors to improve the clarity and coherence of their work. I also manage submission deadlines and communicate with student authors regarding revisions or questions about the publishing process. I am also a PhD Candidate in Professional and Liberal Studies, with a focus on Child Development. My doctoral research explores the impact of education reform and policy on urban education pedagogy, especially for early childhood education. I am passionate about aligning child development and family resources with well-rounded opportunities to improve their quality of life. I have a Master of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, and a Bachelor of Science in Child Development and Family Relationships from Tennessee State University.
