As stakeholders continue to make business decisions based on the overall company image, not just on profit alone, effective Communications encompassing your internal and external audiences, with a pulse on emerging and bubbling issues can help you shape public perception, address complex issues, strengthen your brand and engage your teams. My name is Lashvinder Kaur, and I have over 2 decades of experience in Corporate Communications, Brand Building, Crisis Management, Change Management and Internal Communications. Agility and the ability to navigate complex business environments and regulatory requirements requires an integrated and comprehensive approach with tailor-made solutions for each market’s needs. A delicate balance of reputation and change management experience coupled with an understanding of how the media works, helps me examine each situation through a different lens. One that allows me to create a vision that goes beyond products, services and profits; one that provides a compelling image of the business that stakeholders are eager to engage with. Reputation Management is becoming more challenging by the day as companies become accountable to ubiquitous media powered by digital forces. This transformed media environment, where just about anyone can publish opinion and information, makes interfacing with the public more challenging than ever. Managing this new form of “journalism,” coupled with reacting to increasing pressure for transparency and ethical behavior requires a strong communications strategy, with someone like me - with strong crisis management & diverse strategic communications skills - to implement it.
