I have 11+ years of laboratory based experience at a variety of different sized pharmaceutical companies as well as academia.I am an enthusiastic and creative scientist very keen to expand my skills and develop my career in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical fields.I have experience with Industrial companies of varying sizes including small spin offs (Sentinel Bioscience), medium (Xenoport) and large (Roche, Novartis and Astra Zeneca) companies.I have had experience supervising students during my PhD, as well as in the isolation of novel native protein-protein conjugates using AKTA purification and precipitation methodologies, as well as protein-characterisation methods. I also have extensive experience in epigenetics through the isolation of chromatin and chromatin related proteinsI have also had experience using a variety of Molecular Biology techniques as well as Pre-Clinical experience and QC training. I have worked within both GMP and GLP environments.Specialties: Protein Biochemist, specialising in protein purification and characterisation.
