About Larsen Murvin

Looking back I never would have thought my life would have taken the road it did. After graduating from Youngstown I enrolled in Auburn University where the next year and a half was anything but predictable. When covid hit I don\'t think anyone was prepared, myself included. I had decided that while I work towards my master\'s degree I would also use that time to experience life and figure out how to live in a very quickly changing world. I found myself working as a ranch hand/ wrangler at a working guest ranch across the country in Wyoming (I\'m originally from Florida). While I was there I not only learned everything there was to learn about the ranching world but I was also chasing my career goals. At times I would find myself working 7 days a week with a full course load on top of it all. I thought as a former student-athlete my time management skills will superb, that wasn\'t wholly false but this new challenge definitely presented itself with its own obstacles. To say it was the hardest, yet most rewarding experience wouldn\'t be far from the truth. Along the way, I met my wonderful fiance who is a ranch hand. I now get the opportunity to live a dream life, the ranching aspect, the farm animals, and yet I also get to chase my career goals and I am more than excited to start this next chapter.
