I am the co-founder of Pictoplasma, the world’s premier platform for contemporary character design and art. The project pushes forward interdisciplinary discussion, development and promotion of a new breed of visual vocabulary – from illustration to animation and interactive, toy to product and fashion design, urban to graphic arts. The focus is on how reduced and minimal design can maximize empathy. With our annual conferences and festivals, academy program and publications, and our community platform Pictofolio, we connect artists and producers round the world for what really matters to them – characters with appeal.
