International Students are allowed to attend Modesto Technical College the College is Approved to offer the M-1 Visa allowing International Students to attend the College. For more information, go to The College provides training for Industrial Maintenance Technicians. Our program is 11 months long. The program includes all of the areas that Technicians need. Industrial Refrigeration is the capstone of the Refrigeration Program. Students receive training in HVAC, Commercial Refrigeration, PLC, Industrial Electricity, Motor Controls, Stainless Steel Purge Welding and many other Industrial Maintenance areas. RETA Authorized Test Center for CARO & CIRO. Class prepares students for the CARO Certification Exam. Employers often send their employees to Modesto Tech for preparing for RETA Certification and PLC training. Graduates are working at: Gallo Winery, Gallo Cheese, Wine Group, Bronco, Dole, Foster Farms, Graingers, Olam, and many facilities
