Designed, developed, tested and supported components of FIS’s Electronic Bill Payment system. Implemented numerous security and performance enhancements to secure the system from potential attacks. Improved processing performance and capacity to keep up with client demands. Technology used: Oracle PL/SQL, C++, C#, JavaManaged a team of development resources, both on-shore and off-shore (India). Responsible for hiring, performance reviews, salary administration. Acted as application owner for FIS’s Electronic Bill Payment Engine. Responsible for reviewing all projects and enhancements. Managed defect resolution and third tier support. Designed, developed and tested applications used by retail bankers to connect to Metavante’s host systems. Developed applications using C and C++ under MS/DOS using Vermont Views. Applications ran on Novell and NT networks utilizing the Btrieve record manager. Responsible for maintaining and enhancing low level libraries used for data storage and host communications. Provided technical support for customers using Metavante’s Branch Automation product line, this included support for networks and gateways as well as the application software. Created technical documentation for the support web site and customer newsletters. Hired, trained and supervised the departmental interns.
