Professional Experience and QualificationMr. Edgerton has 43 years of experience in public accounting. He has provided litigation support and business valuation services since 1983 and has been appointed by State District Courts in Ector and Midland counties to provide business valuation services, to provide audits under Rule 172 of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and to serve as Receiver pursuant to Texas Family Code Section 6.502(5). As a Certified Valuation Analyst, Mr. Edgerton has provided valuations in a variety of contexts including gift tax and estate valuations, divorce, merger and acquisition and litigation contexts. Mr. Edgerton has completed and was awarded the Certificate of Advanced Studies in corporate Taxation administered by the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) in 1994. He is a lifetime member of the Board of Directors of the TSCPA. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and its Tax Division and past member of AICPA Council. He is a charter member of the TSCPA Litigation Services Section.
