As RAL’s Executive Director, my focus is on building a world-class team and organization to maximize our reach, effectiveness, and impact in the Central Virginia region. Richmond Animal League (RAL) partners with 29 municipal shelters and rescues, providing companion animals with medical care, socialization, behavior assessments, and compassionate human interaction until permanent homes can be found. Founded in 1979 by a passionate group of volunteers, RAL is the oldest no-kill organization committed to reducing euthanasia rates in the greater Richmond area through adoption, foster, education, and spay/neuter services and advocacy.
