Focused on security for over 10 years and information technology before that, I\'ve been successful in building and leading diverse teams with different focus points and requirements. Additionally, I\'ve been leading or supporting regulatory or compliance audits from each industry vertical as well as any required remediation efforts. When required, I can evaluate and recommend security frameworks to assess an organization\'s security or regulatory position and determine appropriate steps to fill gaps and enhance existing controls.My belief is that security is about people, processes, and technology that combine to lower an organization\'s overall risk posture to a level that is acceptable to the business. Security is meant to enhance the business, not inhibit or limit it\'s productivity.
